New: shorten or extend a song
Fit a song to your dance routine, show or video: discover the new MixClap length tool, its steps, price and practical limits.
Your dance routine lasts 2 minutes 30, but your song runs for 3 minutes? MixClap now offers a tool to shorten or extend a single track. Set a target duration, then listen to the options before downloading.
Music that fits your project
For a dance, a stage entrance or a video soundtrack, a few seconds can change the whole plan. This tool adjusts an existing track by removing or repeating sections. The tempo stays the same and the ending is preserved. It reuses your music; it does not compose new audio.
Two duration examples
A 3:00 track can be the starting point for a 2:30 version for a dance routine, or a 3:30 version for a stage entrance. These are example targets, not a promise of a perfect join: quality depends on the song’s structure. Listen carefully to each join.

How to try it
Import your audio file, enter the duration you want and listen to the options. Choose the one that fits your project, then download the result as MP3 or WAV. Editing and previewing are free. No account or subscription is required, and your audio files stay on your device.
What to know before you start
Your target must be at least 10 seconds and between 35% and 150% of the original duration. Tracks with regular sections are easier to join than free-form passages or continuous vocal phrases. Listen to the entire track: a join may still be audible. If you need much more music or several songs, use the mix editor instead.
